Conditions of Use for Hawthorn House
Please read carefully the following conditions. The booking conditions are practical things that it is sensible to point out to the holiday maker to protect you and Hawthorn House.
Hawthorn House is situated next to a working farm. There will be farm machinery on the lane outside the house. The garden is fenced but extra care must be taken with dogs and children to ensure that they are kept safe.
Complaints:
Obviously the main thing is for you to enjoy your holiday so in the event of any complaint, this should be bought to our attention immediately. Requests for compensation will not be considered after the holiday has ended. Any complaint will be investigated and rectified as soon as possible after notification.
Liability:
Every effort is made to ensure the amenities are as advertised, however, no liability will fall upon the owner/representative should restrictions be applied in the event of flood, drought, power cuts,or any other occurrence outside their control.
Hirer’s Obligations:
To be responsible for Hawthorn House and to take reasonable care of it, to keep it clean and tidy and to replace any breakages or damage caused.
To permit the owner or representative to enter the property at any reasonable time, to carry out any repairs deemed necessary to the property or equipment. That on no account are the
number of persons to alter from the booking form which was signed by the hirer, without the owners consent prior to arrival.
Not to enter the nieghbouring farm without prior contact and consent from the Farmer, John Stewart. This is very much for your own safety, there are cows and machinery on the farm.
Insurance:
You may care to take your own insurance out against the possibility of having to cancel your holiday.
